The April 5 meeting was cancelled and postponed to April 9 where committee members met to select theme suites for Housing.

The April 19 meeting was focused on several agenda items. They were: 1. Pub Task Force update 2. Search updates for Area Coordinator and Chaplain positions 3. Student Culture Task Force Read the minutes

This meeting focused entirely on review of the Sexual Misconduct Policy. Read the minutes

The new theme housing has been proposed for Village dorm. Information on them housing was provided by Joyce Milling. The remainder of the meeting was focused on revision of the sexual assault policy. Ew Quimbaya-Winship led discussion about  changes being made prior to bringing it through the governance process. Read the minutes

The February 16 meeting included discussion on the current sexual assault policy based on review with an attorney within NCHERM, http://ncherm.org/, which led to conversation about the updates that will take place within the Student Handbook. Read the minutes

Topics discussed include: 1. Smoking on campus updates 2. Updates on Sodexo plans for Sunderland and Gladfelter 3. RA/RD selections 4. Next meeting; Ew presents draft of policies for stalking and new hearing process for sexual misconduct Read the minutes

Ew Quimbaya-Winship, director of RISE Project, provided information about policy changes that will be taking place in RISE that address enforcement of Title IX. The December 8 meeting consisted of new discussions taking place at Caucus. Topics addressed at the SLC meeting were: 1. Campus accessibility for students with disability policy being redrafted. Formal proposal to be submitted in January. 2. Caucus approved letter about funding for Preston House.
