My Story
When I decided to major in Theatre in college, I purposely chose a school that didn’t require an audition for admittance to its program. I was afraid if I didn’t succeed in the audition, I wouldn’t have the confidence to pursue the thing I knew I wanted to learn. Luckily, I went to a school where I was supported, challenged, and rewarded. That’s the environment I hope to create and foster in WWC’s Theatre Department.
I don't think I would have gotten this part without Candace. Needless to say, when I showed up at Wilson, I knew I wanted to act, but I was scared... and it was the most terrifying thing ever. Candace worked with me just endlessly.
