A recap: MLK Service Day

Over 50 Warren Wilson students, employees, and volunteers spent Monday, January 20 celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through service.

The group traveled to Hall Fletcher Elementary in West Asheville where they spent the day cleaning and organizing storage rooms, prepping classrooms, making flash cards, organizing library books, clearing garden beds, turning compost, painting fences and so much more!

A special thanks to Principal Dr. Gordon Grant, Hall Fletcher PTO, and the Asheville City Schools Foundation for setting the context of our work and keeping us on track throughout the day.
