The Spirituality and Social Justice Crew is happy to announce the opening of a new spiritual life room. The room is located in lower Vining A across from the laundry room. We are making this room available to spiritual and religious groups as well as individuals who are seeking a quiet and comfortable space. Also, our crew will be facilitating and encouraging workshops on various topics in this room. Stay posted for happenings in the area. Groups can reserve the room by marking a date and time on the calendar which is posted on the door. Currently, the room is reserved regularly on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights for Kehila, Open Spirituality, and Digging Deeper accordingly. If the room is not reserved, it is open to student use. The Spirituality and Social Justice Crew received a caucus grant which has allowed the room to be furnished in a way that’s conducive to meetings, contemplation, and spiritual practice. As a way to further a hospitable environment, our crew is requesting donations of wall decor which suits the room. We hope students will enjoy the room and consider any possibilities for its use as a way to better life at the college.
