Recap: Cuba Study Abroad presentation in Sage Café

It was a full house last night in Sage Café as the room was filled with people eager to hear about the two week Study Abroad course to Cuba over winter break. The semester long course, Intersections of Agricultural and Social Welfare Systems in Cuba: Paradigms and Paradoxes invited students to engage in intercultural learning.

Snow days bring work and play to our Blue Ridge Mountain campus

Swim Team Service

January 23rd, 2014

Over winter break, the Swim Team took a break from training to do some service at Hugh Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. They helped pull invasive plants, among other tasks. The Service Program Office sends special appreciation to Coach Andrew Pulsifer for always finding the time to do service on their trips.

WWC Timbersports Team 3rd at N.C. State Invitational

December 5th, 2013

On Nov. 16 the Warren Wilson College Timbersports Team traveled to NC State to compete in the 2013 Rolleo Invitational. The team came in third place, only one point behind NC State and seven points behind winner Haywood Community College.

International Photo Contest

International Photos
Every fall, the International Programs Office invites WWC students, faculty, staff and volunteers to enter the annual International Photo Contest. This year, we received over eighty entries from places as diverse as Guatemala, Indonesia, and Tanzania. The photos were displayed in the library, and the campus community voted for its favorites.
