Please join WWC’s International Programs Office in congratulating senior Marshall McCollum and junior Owen Harris on winning Critical Language Scholarships!
The Critical Language Scholarship, a program of the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, offers intensive summer language institutes in 13 critical foreign languages. This summer Marshall McCollum, a senior biology/ENS major, will head to Dhaka, Bangladesh, to study Bengali language intensively. Owen Harris, a junior modern languages major will head to Bursa, Turkey, to study Turkish language.
Marshall and Owen were selected through a competitive, national process administered by American Councils for International Education. Awards are approved by the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Click here for further information on this award and other study abroad opportunities.
