The Service Program Office is looking for potential break trip student leaders for the 2014-2015 academic year.
Break trips are week-long service experiences that happen over the fall and spring break. The focus of break trips vary each semester. Break trips can focus on issues from food security to the environment to housing and homelessness to race and immigration to youth and education. Break trips are designed and co-led by two students.
Trip leaders will have experience in managing group dynamics and facilitating group reflection. They help students deepen their service experiences through education and direct service. Leaders will also be involved in planning logistics (selecting issue & community partner(s), determining budget, planning meals, establishing a daily schedule, arranging lodging, etc.
If you are interested, please schedule a time to meet with Missy Harris email@example.com and Jasmine Woo firstname.lastname@example.org! Here is a link to the break trip page for more information and to fill out an application: http://www.warren-wilson.edu/~service/Students/Break_Trips.php
