Art class visits MINT Museum in Charlotte

To serve as inspiration for a paper analyzing elements in ancient artworks, Julie Caro’s Art History Survery 1 class went to both sites of the MINT Museum in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, September 28. Students were to pick one ancient artwork and write a detailed paper on the composition and purpose of the piece. With this first-hand observation, students were able to get a real grasp of every detail of the artwork and think critically about the meaning or use of the works.
