Family Weekend is an opportunity for families to spend time with their students while having a Warren Wilson experience of their own. A number of different activities are planned including whitewater rafting trips, a guided forest walk on campus trails, a chance to attend classes with your student and Warren Wilson barbecue. The schedule also allows plenty of free time for families and their students to explore campus and nearby Asheville.
Family Weekend is held concurrently with Warren Wilson’s annual Homecoming celebration so that families also have a chance to interact with faculty, staff and alumni of the College. More information here.
Homecoming at Warren Wilson is a chance for alumni to return home and reconnect with the people and places that made their time here special. With a range of activities planned over the weekend, alumni have a chance to visit with old friends, explore campus and reminisce about their years at Wilson.
Highlights include the annual Barbecue and Square Dance on the Farm, Owls Soccer, the Alumni Association Awards Ceremony, and Festival on the Field. Classes who are celebrating their 10th, 25th or 50th reunions can participate in special reunion dinners, but there is fun to be had for alumni of all ages.
