WWC faculty and staff joined the many visitors for lunch
Warren Wilson College’s 2013 Summer Open House for prospective students happily coincided with Asheville’s first dry day of July and what a terrific day it was.
About 80 students and their families were on campus to participate in a variety of activities, beginning with music and warm welcomes in Kittredge Theater from President Steve Solnick and Dawn Medley, Warren Wilson’s new vice president for enrollment management and marketing. Arkansas, Florida, Ohio and California were among the many states represented by prospective students.
The students and their families were able to engage with many of the College’s faculty and staff throughout the day. They also spent time on campus tours, in financial aid presentations and in sessions learning about the application process. And no Open House would be complete without an opportunity to participate in the Green Walkabout, which tells the story of sustainability at Warren Wilson College.
If you missed the Summer Open House, not to worry – at least one Open House will be held on campus this fall. Call 800-934-3536 or email Monique Cote at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
