“Pots That Pour,” an exhibition curated by Warren Wilson College art professor Leah Leitson, runs through August at the Asheville Area Arts Council Gallery, 346 Depot St. in the heart of the city’s River Arts District.
The exhibition showcases 10 clay artists from several states, highlighting a range of pouring vessels such as ewers, pitchers, flasks and decanters. The hand builders and throwers from Nebraska, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina use a variety of clay bodies and firing techniques.
