Yes, counselor Anne Lundblad won the 24-Hour World Cup gold medal with the U.S. women’s team. Our ultra-modest world champion ultrarunner ran 138.7 miles in 24 hours, finishing as the third U.S. woman and ninth female overall. Here’s a story in the Asheville Citizen-Times about our gold medalist.
