Join us for an uncommon evening of music, poetry, and prose

Musical prelude begins at 7:15

Janisse Ray will be joined by Heartstone contributors Thomas Rain Crowe, John Lane, Sebastian Matthews, Jeff Davis, Gary Lilley, Ann Turkle, and Catherine Reid for the Heartstone Fall Event celebrating the theme of the last issue – Water. Music will be provided by the Warren Wilson Chorale, directed by Milt Crotts.Scenic design by the Warren Wilson Theatre Department will be featured and the works of artists Dusty Benedict and John Dickson will be displayed. A book signing will follow the celebration.

WWC mountain bike team gets dirty in the high country

Warren Wilson College August 2006 Report to Campus

As I noted in last month’s report, my first month on the job (July) was devoted mostly to getting to know members of the campus community, attending a seminar for new presidents in Boston, and experiencing many summer events hosted by the college. My second month has given me more exposure to campus life and to the issues we’ll face this year and beyond.
