The house located at 118 Northwest Lane recently occupied by Evon Swann is now being offered for sale to current faculty and staff. This ranch style house with a partially finished basement has been appraised at $146,000 (plus $1 for the land). This house features a combined living room, dining room and kitchen; three bedrooms and two baths plus a carport on the main level. The basement level features a family room, two bedrooms, a half bath and unfinished space. Heat is by provided by a gas furnace, which is supplemented in the basement by electric heat.
This house is offered, consistent with the College’s established policy, to current staff and faculty, with the proviso that the College maintains the right of first refusal when vacated by the buyer. There are other restrictions, which apply; we will share these with serious potential buyers. This is not a bidding situation; the staff or faculty member with the most seniority that pays the advertised price, will be awarded the home. Also, consistent with the College policy, a discount off the purchase of $200 per each year of service will be granted to the buyer.
If you would like to review the appraisal, please stop by the Business/Human Resources Office (Ogg 206).
